- - Cut to ¼ inch before each use
- - Prevents smoking and ensures even burning
2. Choose the right location:
- - Use a leveled, stable, heat-resistant surface
- - Burn in a well-ventilated room
- - Avoid drafts, vents, curtains, and flammable materials
3. Handle with care:
- - Allow the candle to cool before handling
- - Never move a burning candle
4. Monitor wax level:
- - Discontinue use when ½" of wax remains in the container
5. Lighting and extinguishing:
- - Use long matches or a long-necked lighter
- - Never blow out the flame; use a candle snuffer
